Florida Conference of Circuit Judges Annual Education 2022
During the first week in August, our Trial Court Administrator, Deputy TCA, and several Circuit judges attended the Conference of Circuit Court Judges of Florida annual education in Naples, Florida. The education provides judges and administrative staff with information about the advancement of the judicial system.
We had several presenters at the business and education meeting including Circuit Judges, James Sloan from Hendry County and Nick Thompson from Lee County.
They presented on the rules of impeachment of witnesses. While, our Trial Court Administrator and Criminal Director in Lee County presented on Criminal Case Management.
Judge Thompson was sworn in as new the Chair of the Conference. Judge Sloan will serve as the Chair of the Education Committee.
