Glades County Courthouse to Close October 9–12, 2026 for Scheduled Fumigation.

MOORE HAVEN, FL – Glades County BOCC is advising residents and visitors that the Glades County Courthouse, located at 500 Avenue J SW in Moore Haven, FL 33471, will be closed to the public from Friday, October 9, through Monday, October 12, 2026, while the facility undergoes scheduled fumigation by Highlands Pest Control.
The closure is necessary to allow the fumigation process to be completed safely and to ensure the building can be inspected prior to reopening.
Closure Schedule:- Friday, October 9: The Courthouse will be tented and fumigation will begin.
- Saturday, October 10 – Monday, October 12: The Courthouse will remain secured and closed while fumigation is completed and inspected before reopening.
- Tuesday, October 13: Normal Courthouse operations will resume.
For safety purposes, no employees, visitors, or members of the public will be permitted to enter the Courthouse while it is tented, undergoing fumigation, or inspection.
This closure applies only to the Glades County Courthouse. All other Glades County BOCC offices and departments are scheduled to operate as normal during this period.
