Homestead Mediation

The Homestead Mediation Program is a local program established by the 20th Judicial Circuit. The program, as implemented by the 20th Circuit, borrowers with homesteaded residential foreclosure cases filed on or after May 1, 2012 to opt into early mediation services. The goal of the program is to open communication between the borrower and the lender to determine if the foreclosure can be prevented through a loan modification or other mortgage workout option.
