Judge Lee Ann Schreiber has been a resident of SW Florida for over 55 years. Admitted to The Florida Bar in 1985, she graduated with both her Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Florida. Prior to her 2010 appointment as a Circuit Judge in the 20th Judicial Circuit by Governor Charlie Crist, Judge Schreiber served as a General Magistrate for the 20th Judicial Circuit from 2005 to 2009. Before her Magistrate work, Judge Schreiber was associated with the law firm of Thompson & Schreiber, P.A. where she concentrated her practice in the area of marital and family law for 20 years.

Judge Schreiber is currently assigned to the Family Law Division (Division N) in Lee County where she presides over domestic relations matters as well as the domestic violence docket. She presently serves on the State of Florida Parenting Coordinator Discipline and Review Board. She previously served on the State of Florida, Southern Division, Mediator Qualifications Board from 2011 to 2022. Judge Schreiber's previous judicial assignments include the Circuit Civil Division in both Lee and Charlotte Counties, the Unified Family Court docket in Charlotte County and the Dependency Division in Lee County. In 2019, Judge Schreiber was appointed by the Chief Judge for the 20th Judicial Circuit as the designated "Hague Convention" Judge presiding over matters involving the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction for the 20th Judicial Circuit.

Judge Schreiber is a former President and active member of the Association of Family Law Professionals of SW Florida and the Past President and Director of the Florida Chapter of the (International) Association of Family & Conciliation Courts. From 2012 to 2016 she served on the Lee County Community Alliance during her tenure as Dependency Judge in Lee County.

In recognition of her work in Dependency Court, Judge Schreiber was awarded the 2011 Community Advocate of the year 2011 by the Statewide Guardian ad Litem Program for her advocacy on behalf of Florida=s abused and neglected children. In 2013 she was selected as the recipient of the "Think Outside the Box Award," an Association of Family Law Professionals award in recognition of her years of commitment to creative problem-solving and leadership in improving the lives of children and families in SW Florida. In 2013, she was also presented with the Lee County Chapter of "FAWL"/Florida Association For Women Lawyers' annual Appreciation Award for outstanding and dedicated service to the Women Of Our Community. In 2016, Judge Schreiber was honored as the Elected Official Of The Year by the National Association of Social Workers, Florida Chapter, Southwest Unit, for her outstanding service contributions to the community.
